Lilette was asked by her daughter to gather a collection of recipes together for her 30th birthday. What started as Lilette trying to jot down recipes, ended up with Lilette’s family and friends coming together to write, create, taste recipes and ultimately support her to publish a book. Lilette’s natural knack for cooking and combining different ingredients meant that Lilette’s Kitchen was born, and she couldn’t be prouder to share it with you all to enjoy it too!
The story of Lilette’s life, told with every mouthful…
While Mauritius is known as an iconic honeymoon destination, with luxurious white sand beaches and sunshine-filled skies, it’s the island’s extensive range of dishes that really steals the spotlight.
The melange of cuisines originates from Indian, African, Chinese and French backgrounds and it is this multi-cultural mix of history and culture that makes the Mauritius foodie scene so exciting.
Lilette’s Kitchen is a homage to Mauritius' melting pot of mixed heritage, celebrating the spirit of the island through every mouthful.
